Greetings,
The overriding mission of the Rockledge Community Association is to serve its residents by helping to provide a safe, enjoyable and relatively carefree living experience while helping to protect and enhance property values within our special Rockledge I & II enclave.
We accomplish this mission by quietly dealing with the myriad of responsibilities and tasks needed:
- Operate an administrative and oversight operation including an elected Board of Directors and Officers who function in accordance with Rockledge Community By-Laws as well as local, state and federal law.
- Maintain our road and drainage systems year round.
- Maintain our water system, providing safe, clean drinking water to the Community.
- Maintain community docks and beach facilities.
- Negotiate rates and coordinate weekly trash pick-up.
- Purchase and maintain necessary insurances to protect the Community.
- Enforce the deed restrictions that protect the value, ambiance and beauty of our Community and property.
- Deal with local governments, agencies, fire & police, associations, lake administrators, etc. in the name of the Community
- Create and enforce safety rules necessary for the well being of all residents and visitors.
- Meet in an open forum, bi-annually, with all property owners to discuss actions (taken & needed), issues, events and to provide direction to the Officers and Board.'
Your elected Board of Directors manage these responsibilities and much more as a Team, committed to providing a positive environment to all our residents and guests. Keep in mind that our "all volunteer organization" relies greatly on the helping hands of other fellow residents willing to commit their time and energies to achieve our Community goals as well. As such, we encourage Community involvement to everyone's benefit by keeping our managing fees low and quality of life high! Our homeowners association is the essence of democracy that is operated without unnecessary layers of administration. It is an open process where your representatives dedicate hours of their personal time working for the good of the Community for ALL.

Rockledge Community Association
